On Wednesday, January 24 at 6 pm, our current AIR_Frankfurt guest artist Kristoffer Ala-Ketola will talk about his artistic practice and his project ideas. The three-month residency in Frankfurt is a cooperation with the "Helsinki International Artist Programme" (HIAP).

The work of Kristoffer Ala-Ketola explores character building, symbolism, psychology, speculative futures, and queer theory, weaving together fiction, autobiography, and theory into a visual language. Kristoffer creates a dynamic interplay of signs that reflect and contradict each other, forming a vortex of associations around themes like desire, solitude, change, healing, and coping.
