On Wednesday, April 17 at 6 pm, our current AIR_Frankfurt guest artist Ihar Hancharuk will talk about his artistic practice and his project ideas.

Ihar Hancharuk (*1986, Belarus), a post-documentary photographer and visual artist, works with photography, modern digital archives, and video. His projects are related to collective memory, national and personal identity. In his artistic practice he approaches the problems of originality, repetitiveness and authorship, with language being an integral part of it. 
After the events in Belarus in 2020, he has been working on a series of projects on propaganda and violence in his country.
