We cordially invite you to the opening of the AIR_Frankfurt exhibition EXISTENTIAL SKELETONS by Kristoffer Ala-Ketola at the basis project space. The exhibition is part of his AIR_Frankfurt residency at basis in cooperation with HIAP – Helsinki International Artist Programme.

Kristoffer Ala-Ketola exhibits a new body of work in his first presentation in Germany, combining elements of historical artifacts and animal exoskeletons with queer theory and a surrealist approach. Completed over a three-month period while Artist in Residence at basis, works ranging from sculpture to video, painting, and photography together form a space for association and meditation on the structures of selfhood.
