Ella Littwitz - Red Mercury
Wir freuen uns, vom 10. Februar bis 30. April 2023 die Einzelausstellung Red Mercury der israelischen Künstlerin Ella Littwitz zu präsentieren. Die Eröffnung findet am Donnerstag, den 9. Februar 2023 um 19 Uhr statt. In ihren Installationen und Objekten thematisiert Ella Littwitz (*1982 in Haifa, Israel) die Beständigkeit, Legitimität und Überwindung von Grenzen sowie ihre geschichtlichen, kulturellen und politischen Bedeutungen.
Structural Stowaway
basis e.V. präsentiert mit der Ausstellung „Structural Stowaway“ künstlerische Positionen, die sich von China ausgehend mit den Auswirkungen globaler Verflechtungen und geopolitischer Ambitionen sowohl aus historischer als auch zeitgenössischer Perspektive auseinandersetzen. Die Künstler:innen Musquiqui Chihying, Elom 20ce, Gregor Kasper, Peng Ke, Xiaoshi Qin, Hu Wei sowie das Kollektiv Geocinema (Asia Bazdyrieva, Solveig Qu Suess) nutzen die Kraft des künstlerischen Ausdrucks, um dieses Geflecht planetarischer Netzwerke und deren mitreisenden blinden Passagiere (engl.
