Unter dem Titel 'showroom' präsentiert basis in loser Folge und flankierend zum international ausgerichteten Ausstellungsprogramm in der Gutleutstrasse die künstlerische Produktion der in den basis-Atelierhäusern arbeitenden Kreativen.
Als mit 110 Arbeitsräumen größter Anbieter von Ateliers in Frankfurt möchten wir durch die fortlaufende Präsentation aktueller Arbeiten einen zentralen Beitrag zur Visualisierung des regionalen künstlerischen Potentials im Rhein-Main Gebiet leisten.

Beside the presentation of new artistic works, objects and graphic arts are also on display.

From February 5 to March 21, 2010 basis is delighted to present an exhibition featuring newly elaborated positions in a series by former students of the Städel Academy in Frankfurt/Main. The works elucidate topics now emerging among contemporary international artists and simultaneously create space for new, unusual ideas and concepts. All the works presented as part of the exhibition developed in the course of the last 12 months and will be exhibited in a German-speaking country for the first time ever.
